The Zimbabwe Union of Drivers and Conductors (ZUDAC) president Mr Fredrick Maguramhinga dismissed claims that only fuel problems had contributed to the rise of bus fares.

Speaking on Capitalk FM’s Deep Dive, Mr Maguramhinga said the rise of bus-fare has been contributed to by the rise of prices of motor vehicle spares.

Bus-fares last month rose from 50 cents to 75 cent, in some areas from dollar to 1 dollar 50 cents.
