Tuberculosis cases on a decrease

The Ministry of Health and Child Care says the number of tuberculosis (TB) cases have been declining between the period of 2010-2017.

Speaking during the best practices in the Management of Infectious Diseases forum in Harare yesterday, TB laboratories coordinator at the ministry of health and child care, Mr Herbert Mutunzi said currently the Kingdom Eswatini has the highest decline rate of 18 percent while Zimbabwe is at 10 percent.

Mr Mutunzi also added that Zimbabwe is ranked among the 30 high burden countries for TB, TB-HIV and drug resistant TB.
