Grain Millers Association of Zimbabwe (GMAZ) has called on packaging material manufacturers to priorities making packaging for basic commodities such as mealie-meal and flour in order to maintain affordable prices.

Speaking after a stakeholder meeting with millers and packaging material manufacturers in Harare today, GMAZ chairperson Mr Tafadzwa Msarara said that there is need for the mealie-meal price that has gone up to be reduced, therefore basic commodities have to be sold on a 1:1 exchange rate allocated by government.
