Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Minister Sithembiso Nyoni yesterday (Thursday) said that this year’s 16 days of activism against gender based violence campaign will be focusing on ending sexual harassment in the workplace. The campaign starts on the 25th of this month and ends on the 10th of next month.

Addressing journalists at a news conference in Harare yesterday (Thursday) Minister Nyoni called on stakeholders to fight on the subject of sexual harassment which has not been a subject of discussion for a long time and the practice has in most instances normalized.

This year’s commemorations will be running under the theme ‘creating zero tolerance to sexual harassment in the workplace’ and will be held in Mutare Meikles Park on the 7th of December 2018.
