Finance and Economic Development Deputy Minister and Member of Parliament for Harare East Constituency Mr. Terence Mukupe has distanced himself from a letter advising all line Ministries about a disbursement of US128 million dollars through the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe circulating on social media.

Responding to Ruvheneko on CAPITALK FM show yesterday (Wednesday), the Deputy Minister and Member of Parliament for Harare East  said, ‘’this is an inside job meant to discredit him and anger the office of the president which is the appointing authority.’ Mukupe added that it’s not even factually and technically possible because if any funds are going to be transferred to the banks the instruction does not come from the Ministry whose role is to give policy direction but from the central bank, which is an independent body.
