MDC Alliance to march against ZEC again

The Nelson Chamisa led MDC Alliance has established its intention to once again stage a march in the central business district - demonstrating against the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission’s failure to respond to their previous demands, ahead of the July 30 elections.

In a letter by MDC Alliance chief of staff Mr Sesei Zvidzai – addressed to the Zimbabwe republic Police seeking clearance of the march, the political party argues that ZEC had failed to provide a complete biometric voters roll and was not transparent on the ballot paper printing process.

According to the letter, Mr Zvidzai requested that the demonstration take place on Wednesday the 11th of July - but still awaits approval from the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
