House-holds should be active in combating climate change

The Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Water, Climate and Rural Resettlement says there is need to have environmental laws that govern households if the country is to make progress in dealing with issues of climate change.

Speaking during Capitalk’s FM’s deep dive programme, the ministry’s director for climate change management, Mr Washington Zhakata said it is imperative for households to be active participants in combating climate change by embarking on simple practices like safe energy use.
