The Zanu PF Harare Provincial Chairman Mr Goodwills Masimirembwa says progress of the Zanu PF primary elections in Harare province has stabilized after a few teething problems on Sunday – with only three outstanding constituencies continuing with the voting process today.
The Zanu PF primary elections started on Sunday countrywide, but were marred with a lot of irregularities such as missing voter’s rolls, late delivery of ballot papers and postponement of voting in some constituencies.
Speaking to Capitalk FM News concerning the progress so far in Harare province, Mr Masimirembwa said despite the few hiccups, the primary elections were successfully nearing completion and voting in all 29 constituencies will be completed by today.
Mr Masimirembwa said official results of the Zanu PF primary elections will be announced by the National Elections Commission in due course.
