People with disabilities in Zimbabwe have called on government to remove duty on assistance devices in the upcoming 2019 budget statement.

Speaking to Capitalk FM news senator representing people with disabilities Rejoice Timire said assistance devices are not luxury gadgets but they aid vulnerable people on a daily basis.

Senator Timire also urged government to consider funding orthopaedic facilities in the country.
