“Because I am a man”- 16 days of activism

Swedish embassy in conjunction with the United Nations yesterday launched the campaign "Because I am man" aimed at ending gender based violence in Zimbabwe.

Speaking at the launch in Harare yesterday, United Nations resident coordinator Mr Bishow Parajuli said that there is need to put enough effort in fighting the violence epidemic in order to make a difference.

Meanwhile, Capitalk FM news spoke to some of the 16 men that have volunteered to campaign in the 16 days of activism against gender based violence. Singer Sebastian Magacha, leading agronomist Mr Irvin Craig and renowned singer Albert Nyathi.
